Mask of choice

Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyrights. Resize the canvas by 700 x 700. Flood fill the white background with white.

Apply a drop shadow to the tree, the black frames, stars, and the blue frame.

Select one of the white frame backgrounds, using this gradient #5abadd for the top color and #377f9b for the bottom color you are going to flood fill this layer. Select the other one as flood fill that one as well, but this time switch the two colors using the little arrow to the right.

We are going to use these two colors throughout the tag for changing the color of the elements.

The light blue #5abadd hue is 138 saturation is 169, the dark blue #377f9b hue is 139 and saturation is 122. When changing the color of the element whatever one you want to use is fine depending on your taste. So, now onto the elements… lol

Open Element 55 and resize by 30 percent, colorize using one the blues above, copy and paste as a new layer at the top right of the top frame. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror, place on the lower frame on the left hand side.

Open Element 38 and resize by 50 percent, colorize, copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the bottom of the tree on the right hand side. Erase any of the string that’s showing out past the tree. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror. Place on the left side of the bottom of the tree.

Open Element 18 and resize by 30 percent, colorize, copy and paste as a new layer. Place behind the top frame background in the left hand corner. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, place in the left corner of the lower frame. Move both layers below the frames background.

Open Element 59 and resize by 30 percent, colorize, copy and paste as a new layer. Place in front of the tree. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Element 42 and resize by 50 percent, colorize, copy and paste as a new layer. Place in front and to the right of the large gift. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Element 8 and resize by 80 percent, colorize, copy and paste as a new layer. Place above the white background to the right, apply a small drop shadow. Duplicate mirror and flip. Reposition to your liking.

Open Element 31 and resize by 85 percent, colorize, rotate left. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place behind the stars on the right hand side. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, mirror and flip.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, place inside the top frame. Erase any of the tube that’s out past the frame. Change blend mode to Luminance (legacy). Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, mirror and place in the lower frame.

Copy and paste the tube again, place above the black square, erase any of the tube that’s out past this square. Lower Opacity to around 36. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the tube for the last time, place in front of the tree. Apply a drop shadow.

Add a layer above the white background. Flood fill this layer using the two blue colors, apply the mask to this layer. Delete the mask layer and merge group.

Add any copyrights and your name.

Crop, resize if desired.

Save as a PNG
