Okay, lets begin!

Open a new image 851 x 315 with a white background.  This will fit perfectly, no need to adjust when you upload to FB!!!

Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Go to Image - Resize by 110 percent.

Open Doodle 2, copy and paste as a new layer, place on the left hand side, position to your liking. Duplicate and mirror, reposition if needed.

Open my word art included in my supplies, copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Flower Swag, copy and paste as a new layer, place in the top left hand corner. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror, reposition in the right hand corner if needed.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, resize if needed. Place more to the right than left. We need to leave room for the profile pic. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy Cupcake 1, resize by 40 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place beside the tube on the right hand side. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror, place over next to the edge of the cover on the right hand side.

Copy Cupcake 2, resize by 30 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place between the two cupcakes we just added. Apply a drop shadow.

Select the white background layer. Go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Back to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Border and set it to 4.

Add a new layer above the rest, make a gradient using two colors from the cover. Flood fill the layer with the gradient. Go to Adjust - Edges - Enhance. Repeat this

Repeat the steps again for the frame only this time set the width for the border to two and flood fill with white, apply drop shadow. Place this layer below the gradient layer and merge the two.

Add any copyrights and name. Save as a PNG.

To make a Profile Pic, follow the same steps only smaller. Use 180 x 180 for the image size.

Thank for trying my first Timeline Cover tutorial, I am sure there will be more to follow. Hope you had fun and plan to come back again! I would love to see what you have created.
