Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice, I am using one by Elias Chatzoudis purchased from MPT but you can find him at PTE now.
My Supplies (includes everything but the tube) here.

Getting a little jump start on the holidays, its been cold enough here lately to think of winter with no problem so I decided to do this animated tut.

Let's get started, whatcha say...lol

Open a new image 700 x 700 with a white background. We will crop later.

Open my supplies if you haven't already done so.

Copy and paste the mask as a new layer.

Copy and paste the glitter as a new layer. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the frame as a new layer. Move the frame a little to the left, just to make it a little more centered on the mask layer. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the worded heart as a new layer below the frame. Reposition to fit inside the frame, nothing should be sticking out past the frame

Copy and paste the plain heart as a new layer below the frame. Do the same as you did for the heart we just added, making sure it fits right on top of the worded heart.

Copy and paste the scene as a new layer on top of the heart we just added making sure it fits inside the frame.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer. Position to the right a little bit. This layer too should be below the frame. Erase any tube that is out past the frame. Apply a drop shadow.

Okay, everything else now is above the frame layer.

Copy and paste the corner poinsettia as a new layer. Position on top of the frame on the right hand side of the tag. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the candy cane as a new layer. Place on top of the black bow. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the ribbon as a new layer. Position at the bottom of the frame. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, mirror and flip, place on top of the ribbon already placed.

Copy and paste the holly as a new layer. Position on top of the ribbon to your liking, apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place this one somewhere on the lower left hand side of the frame.

Copy and paste the bell as a new layer. Position so that it is hanging off the black bow on the left hand side. See my tag for reference if needed. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste as a new layer the small poinsettia. Place on top of the bow on the bell. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate as many as you like, I placed a few on top of the ribbon.

Add any copyrights.

Add your name.

Crop, resize if desired.

Now you can either save it as a png or go on to animate it like I did.

Okay, this may seem a little complicated but its really not. We will be going back and fourth between PSP and Animation Shop.

The first thing we need to do is close off all the layers above the hearts. The only layers showing should be the white background, mask, glitter, and the three heart layers.

Copy MERGED, okay off to Animation Shop and Paste As New Animation. Duplicate this frame until you have 20 in total. Once you have 20 select them all, they should all have a blue frame around them when selected.

Open Snow Fall mng included in my supplies, this is our snow for the animation. Working with the snow frames now select all of them like you did for the tag. Kind of place them at the bottom of the screen and the tag at full size above it, we will use the snow several times so we need to keep it handy.

Okay, back up to our tag animation, make sure again they are all selected. Go to Edit - Propagate Paste, make sure this is selected, this will paste the same image into all frames at once.

Back down to the snow, drag the first frame of the snow animation into the first frame of your tag. Make sure to stay as close as possible inside the heart scene.

Repeat this until you have the heart scene covered with snow. Select the snow frames, go to the arrow pointing to the left, this will undo the snow for you to use it again.

Once you have the heart filled with snow so back to PSP. This time you are going to close the white background, mask layer, glitter, and the three heart layers. Everything about this should be opened where you can see that. Copy MERGED and go back to Animation Shop.

Paste as a new animation. Once again make sure all frames are selected in the tag. Drag the frame and tube we just pasted as a new animation into the first frame of the tag. Try to line up the heart and the ribbon on the bow. This is the best way to try to center it.

Your tag should look like it does in PSP only with animated snow added to it. Go to Edit - Animation and see how it looks. If you like it save as a gif.

You now have a new animated tag! Not too bad was it?...lol ... I hope you have enjoyed using one of my tuts. I would love to see what you have created.
