Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice, I am using Zlata_M found at SATC
Scrap kit FREEBIE The Red, White & Blue by Tasha’s Playground found at PFD

I love this tube and scrap I decided to use them for both of my new 4th of July tutorials. Thanks ladies!

Open a new image 600 x 250 with a white background.

Open the Flag, do not close it. Copy and paste the flag as a new layer. Position the stars in the left hand corner. Using the Pick tool I resized the flag to stretch all the way across. You can also use Resize if needed. Select the Flag we left open, using the Selection tool select just the blue stars. Copy and paste as a new layer, place at the bottom of the tag on the left hand side. Now the entire left hand side should be blue stars. See my tag if needed.

Open Border, using the Selection tool again select just the red side of the border. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the left hand side about in the center of the tag. Duplicate and mirror, place on the right hand side so that it appears to be one long piece of paper. Merge the two layer together and duplicate. Flip, reposition so you have a nice wide place for a strip of white to be made, see my tag if needed.

Okay, now for the white strip in the center of the red border paper, Select the Selection tool, draw a rectangle across the tag. Add a new layer above the red strips, flood fill with white or a color of your liking. Cover layer to Raster, apply a drop shadow. Reposition the two red border papers if needed. Apply a drop shadow to the border.

Open Stars, copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking and apply a drop shadow. Duplicate if desired and place to your liking.

Open Star 3, duplicate, resize one by 25 and the other by 15 percent. Copy and paste both stars on top of the blue star background and strip. Arrange to your liking at the top and bottom. Apply a drop shadow to all layers.

Using a font of choice, type out Love the Red, White and Blue, you can always add something different or leave it how it is, choice is yours. Place the words inside the white strip. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, place on the right hand side. Resize if needed and apply a drop shadow.

For the frame select the white background layer, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Back to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 5 as the setting.  Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with red of your choice. Go to Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance. Select the white background layer again, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat. Back to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 7 as the setting.  Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with white. Apply a drop shadow to the white frame. Place below the red frame and merge the two layers together.

Add any copyrights and your name. Save as a PNG.

NOTE* to make the avatar, start with an image 150 x 150. Follow the steps above in a smaller scale.

Supplies Needed:

Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyright and pink circles. Resize all layers by 70 percent. Flood fill the background layer with white.

Select grey circle layer, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.

Copy and paste a paper of choice above the selected layer. Position and resize to your liking, go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. Delete the template layer and apply a drop shadow.

Repeat the above steps for the remaining template layers.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, I mirrored the one I used. Place below the dotted black  frame on the right hand side. Position and resize to your liking. Apply a drop shadow. Using the Selection tool, draw a square on top of the black dots, go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard.

Copy and paste the circle word art included in my supplies as a new layer. Place to your liking.

Open Flare, resize by 30 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer, place on the left hand side at the top of the rectangle where the small pink circle was. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place where the other pink circle was. See my tag if needed. Duplicate once more and place on the right hand side.

Open We Love word art and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the left hand side inside the small rectangle.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer. Place to your liking, resize if needed. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Star 3, resize by 25 percent, copy and paste as a new layer, place in the center on top of the strip on the left hand side. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Stars, copy and paste above the white background layer. Place in the upper left hand corner. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place in the bottom right hand corner.

Copy and paste the mask included in my supplies as a new layer above the white background. Position to your liking.

Open Star Pop, resize by 50 percent, copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the right hand side so that the stick is under the flare. apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and resize by 90 percent. Place in front of the tube.

Open Firework 1, copy and paste as a new layer. Place behind the tube.

Add any copyrights and your name. Crop, resize if desired. Save as a PNG (close background first).

Open new image 600 x 250 with a white background.

Copy and paste the background as a new layer.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, apply a drop shadow. Now go to the Plugins and select MuRa’s Meister - Copies:
Wall paper (rotate)
Random
Wraparound
Blend Mode
Number - 20
Shift X and Y - 30
You may play around with the settings to find something you like, this is totally up to you. I lowered the Opacity to around 30.

Copy and paste the flag included in my supplies as a new layer. Place in the upper left hand corner.

Using the Selection tool draw out a rectangle about in the center across the template. Add a new layer above the others and flood fill with red. Convert to Raster layer and apply a drop shadow. Reposition if needed.

Using the Selection tool again draw out another rectangle on top of the one we just done. Add a new layer above the red and flood fill with white. Convert to Raster layer and apply a drop shadow. Reposition if needed.

Merge the two layers we just made together. Reposition to your liking.

Copy and paste the word art included in my supplies as a new layer. Place on top of the two layers we merged in the center of the white strip. Merge with the red and white rectangles.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, place to your liking, resize if needed. Apply a drop shadow.

Made a gradient out of two colors from the tag.

Select the white background, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat, back to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 5.

Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with the gradient.

Select the white background, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat, back to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 7.

Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with white.  Apply a drop shadow and move this layer below the gradient. Merge the two layers together.

Add any copyrights and your name.

Open Animation Shop - if not animating save now as a PNG.

Close off the frame, and tube. Copy MERGED.

Pull up Animation Shop, copy and paste as a new animation. Check the fireworks for the number of frames it contains, copy the tag so it has just as  many frames as a the fireworks.

Once you have done this, Select All frames in the tag, Select All frames in the fireworks. Make sure Propagate Paste is selected, you can find this under the Edit menu.

Making sure that you have the first frame in both selected drag the fireworks frame up into the tag, place to your liking. Check animation, like it? AWESOME!

Okay, back to PSP! Close off the layers we have open and open those we have closed…lol. This should be the frame, and tube. Once they are open and the rest closed, copy MERGED.

Now back to Animation Shop, sorry if your getting dizzy! LOL… paste this as a new animation. Check to make sure all frames are selected in the tag, now drag the frame into the tag, again this should be the first frame in the tag. Look good??? Check out the animation, like it? GREAT!! Save as a .gif.

To make the small forum tag, just repeat the above steps in a smaller scale. I used 150 x 150 for the size.

Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyright, resize all layers by 90 percent. Flood fill the background layer with white.

Copy and paste the mask included in my supplies as a new layer above the white background layer, position to your liking.

Select circle left layer, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.

Copy and paste a paper of choice above the selected layer. Position to your liking, go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above steps for the remaining template layers.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, move this layer so that its right above the rectangle in the center of the template. Center the tube, apply a drop shadow. Now go to the plugins and select MuRa’s Meister - Copies:
Wall paper (rotate)
Random
Wraparound
Blend Mode
Number - 20
Shift X and Y - 30
You may play around with the settings to find something you like, this is totally up to you.

Select the rectangle in the center of the template, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.

Select the tube once more and go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. I lower the Opacity to around 60.

Select the star background in the upper left hand corner, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer above the selected layer. Position inside the frame to your liking. Apply a drop shadow. Go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard.

Repeat the above steps for the star on the lower right hand side.

Apply a drop shadow to all template layers.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, place in the center of the template. Resize if needed. Apply a drop shadow.
I placed mine between the two stars to the lower one is on top of the tube, this is up to you.

Open Word Art, resize by 60 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the bottom on the left hand side. This should be next to the tube, see my tube if needed. Apply a gradient glow or a nice drop shadow.

Copy and paste the GIRL word art included in my supplies, place at the bottom of the tag overlapping the bottom of the tube.

Open Flag, resize by 80 percent, go to Image - Free Rotate and rotate right 15 degrees. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the top left hand side, move the flag so that it is behind the star layers. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror. Reposition if needed on the right.

Open Fire Cracker 1 and 2, resize both by 25 percent. Copy and paste both above the USA word art. Apply a drop shadow to both layers.

Open Star 1, 2 and 3. Resize star 1 by 20 percent, star 2 by 25 percent and star 3 by 30 percent. Copy and paste the stars around the template, placing where you like or you can see my tag for my placement. Apply a drop shadow to all layers. Duplicate as many as you like.

Add any copyrights and your name. Crop, resize if desired. Save as a PNG (close background layer first).

Scrap kit 03 by Heartfelt Scraps
Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow (optional)

Open a new image 600 x 250 with a white background.

Add a new layer above the white background, flood fill with a  gradient of choice.

Copy and paste a paper of choice above the gradient, move to the left hand side. Duplicate and line up on the right hand side. Change the Blend Mode to Multiply.

Copy and paste the torn paper as a new layer, place in the upper right hand corner, apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, mirror and flip, place in the lower left hand corner to your liking.

Copy and paste the red ric rac as a new layer. Place at the top of the tag. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the blue ric rac as a new layer. Place right below the red ric rac. Apply a drop shadow.

Using the Selection tool draw out a rectangle across the center of both ric racs. Add a new layer above the red and blue ric rac and flood fill with white. Apply a gradient glow.

Using a font of choice type the God Bless America in the center of the white strip. Apply a drop shadow.

See my tag if needed.

Merge the two ric rac layers, white strip and the words. Duplicate, place at the bottom of the tag.

Copy and paste the star brads as a new layer. Place on the left hand side of the tag, apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place on the right hand side. Erase any of the stars that you don’t want.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer. Place to your liking. Resize if needed. Apply a drop shadow.

Select the white background, go to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 4. Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with red.

Select the white background, go to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 2. Add a new layer below the red, flood fill with white. Apply a drop shadow.

Select the white background, go to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Borders and use 3. Add a new layer below the white, flood fill with blue. Apply a drop shadow.

Merge all 3 frame layers.

Add any copyrights and your name. Save as a PNG.

Eyecandy 4000 - HSB Noise (optional)

Open a new image 600 x 250 with a white background.

Copy and paste the background included in my supplies, or you can make your own. Just add a new layer above the white layer and flood fill with a color of choice and then apply Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation, play around with the settings until you have something you like.

Copy and paste the stars above the background layer, position to your liking.

Using the Selection tool, draw out a rectangle across the top of the tag, select a color that matches the tube, add a new layer above the stars and flood fill this layer with the color. Apply a drop shadow or gradient glow.

Copy and paste the word art Happy 4th.. As a new layer. Position on top of the strip you made at the top, we may need to move the words a little depending on what tube you are using, we will do this in a second.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer. Place above the other layers, position in the center. Resize if needed. Apply a drop shadow. Now if needed move the words around some so you can see as much as them as possible.

Using the Selection tool again draw out another rectangle this time at the bottom of the tag. Add a new layer above the tube, flood fill this layer with a color of choice. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the words RED WHITE BLUE, place in the center of the strip at the bottom, or of course you can always add your own words.

Copy and paste the screw as a new layer. Place on the left hand side on top of the bottom strip. Duplicate and place on the right hand side.

To add the frame select the background layer, go to Selections - Modify - Select Selection Border and use 5. Add a new layer above the others, flood fill with a gradient or color of choice. Apply Eyecandy 4000 - HSB Noise using the default settings. If adding the white border around the frame repeat the above steps only use 7 as the setting and move this layer below the colored layer, apply a drop shadow and merge the two frame layers together.

Add any copyrights and your name.

Open Animation Shop - if not animating save now as a PNG.

Close off the frame, tube, bottom strip, and screws. Copy MERGED.

Open a new image 700 x 700 with a white background. We will crop later so don’t worry about the size right now, you can also resize when your finished.

Open Frame 03 and resize by 80 percent, rotate right. Copy and paste as a new layer. Using the Pick tool resize the frames width a little more. Click inside the frame with the Magic Wand. Go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 3.

Open a paper of choice, resize if desired. Copy and paste as a new layer below the frame. Go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on your key board.

Apply a drop shadow to the frame layer.

Open Stars and paste as a new layer below the frame background. Resize if needed.

Open another paper of choice and paste as a new layer above the white background. Apply the mask to this layer. Delete the mask layer and merge group.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, resize if needed. Paste inside the frame erasing anything out past the frame that you don’t like. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Balloons 01 and resize by 80 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer in the upper left hand corner. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Flag 01 and resize by 50 percent, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer right below the balloons. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Flower 02 and resize by 35 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer covering the star holding the balloon strings. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Flower Beaded Ribbon 03 and resize by 80 percent, go to Image - Rotate Right. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the right hand side on top of the frame. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Star 01 and resize by 50 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the bottom right corner of the frame. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Flower 04 and resize by 40 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place above the USA star. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Flower 01 and resize by 40 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the right bottom corner under the left side of the USA star. Apply a drop shadow.

Open Star 03 and resize by 50 percent, go to Image - Free Rotate and rotate left 10 degrees, sharpen. Copy and paste as a new layer on the lower left hand side. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate, mirror and place above the blue flower on the right hand side.

Open Butterfly 04 and resize by 30 percent, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer above the white flower on the left hand side, apply a drop shadow.

Open Butterfly 06 and resize by 30 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer on top of the white flower. Apply a drop shadow.

Pick a color from your tag, add the text “GOD BLESS THE USA” at the bottom of the tag. I added a white gradient glow set at 3, you can add a drop shadow or whatever you prefer.

Add any copyrights and your name.

Crop, resize if desired.

Save as a PNG.

Open a new image 700 x 700 with a white background.

Open frame ann paste as a new layer.

Select your magic wand and click inside the frame, go to Selections - Expand by 10 - Invert

Copy and paste a paper of choice from the kit, go to Invert and hit delete on your keyboard.

Paste your tube as a new layer, delete anything out past the bottom of the frame. I allowed her head to stick out over the top, apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste charm as a new layer, position at the top left of the frame. See my tag for reference if needed. Apply a drop shadow.

Open and copy the silver stars, paste as a new layer above the white background. Position to your liking.

Open the red, blue and white flowers from the Memorial Day scrap kit.

Resize the red flower by 60 percent. Paste as a new layer on the top left of the frame. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and move to the bottom right. See my tag for reference.

Resize the blue and white flowers both by 50 percent. Paste as new layers, position one on each side of the red flower. Apply a drop shadow to both flowers. Duplicate both flowers and move to the bottom red flower, position like you did for the ones on the left.

Add a new layer above the white background layer.

Select 2 colors from the flowers, make a gradient out of them and flood fill the new layer above the white background layer. Delete the mask layer and merge. Resize if needed.

Add any other elements you would like.

Add your copyrights

Add your name.

Crop, and resize if desired.

Save as a PNG.

Your done, see that was EASY!! I hope you enjoyed using one of my tuts, I would love to see what you have created.

Open a new image 700 x 700 with a white background.

Open frame2, resize by 85. Paste as a new layer. With your magic wand click inside the frame, go to Selections - Expand by 5.

Open a paper of your choice or you can use the same as I did, p12. Paste below your frame layer. Go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on your key board.

Apply a drop shadow to your frame.

Open beads and paste as a new layer below the frame background. Position to your liking, apply a drop shadow. Duplicate then flip. Merge the two layer of beads. Duplicate the merged layer and then mirror. You should now have the beads on both sides. See my tag for reference if needed. You may also erase any beads that you don't want.

Paste your tube as a new layer. Position to your liking and apply a drop shadow.

Open banner and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom of your tag. Apply a drop shadow.

Open fireworks2, resize by 50 percent. Paste as a new layer and move to the right side near the top of your tube. Apply a drop shadow, duplicate and move this one to the bottom left of your tube. See my tag for reference if needed.

Open pearls, resize by 40 percent and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom of the banner. Apply a drop shadow.

Open wire and paste below the background layer. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and rotate left. Be sure to only rotate this layer and not them all.

Open star, resize by 50 percent and paste as a new layer. Move to the center of the beads. Apply a drop shadow.

Add your copyrights

Add your name.

Crop, and resize if desired.

Save as a PNG
