Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice, I am using Keith Garvey, you can find him at PTE
Template CMC Template 12 by Kristin found at Creative Misfits
Snow here

This tag will take about 5 minutes to make, hate to say it but Kristin done all the work for us, thank you honey!

Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyright.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer. Depending on which direction your tube is facing you are going to have to decide where it goes, if its facing right place it left and visa versa. Move to the end of the frame. Erase any of the tube outside the frame. Change the Blend Mode to Overlay. Do the same of the other side.

Copy and paste the tube again, this time place her in the center between the two we changed the blend mode. Erase any of the tube out past the frame. Apply a drop shadow.

Select one of the template layers, add a drop shadow or gradient glow. Repeat this with al the layers except for the word art.

Add any copyrights and your name.

We are moving on to animation so if you like it how it is just save as a PNG.

Open Animation Shop.

Back to PSP,  close off the following layers, the tube in the center, the dotted frame, and the copyright.

Okay, copy MERGED, back to Animation Shop, paste as a new animation.

Duplicate the tag until you have a total of 20 frames.

Copy the snow, gif in animation shop. Select all layers. Go to Edit and select Propagate Paste, this will allow you to copy all the frames from the snow into all the frames in the tag.

Make sure all frames are selected in both the tag and the snow, once they are move to the first frame in both. Drag the snow up into the tag placing it to the left. Try to stay inside the black frame. Do this until the tag is covered with snow. You may need to undo the drag when it comes to the snow.

Okay, check it out…looks good? Awesome back to PSP, close off all the layers we just merged and open those we closed. Copy MERGED. Back to Animation Shop.

Paste as a new animation, now you are going to make sure all layers are picked again in the tag, now drag the tube and copyrights up into the tag, position.

Go to View - Animation…still looks good? GREAT!

Save your creation as a GIF.

I hope you have enjoyed using one of my tuts, I would love to see what you have created.

Tube of choice, I am using one for Zindy Nielsen found here
Tag Template 87 by Becky’s Creations
Scrap kit Christmas Around The World by Bel Vidotti here
(her site is down) so you can download it here
Mask of choice
My Supplies here (diamond, chain and word art)
Animated Snow Fall here (only needed if animating tag)
Animation Shop

I just love animated Christmas tags so here is another one that I have done, I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did. Its pretty easy so don’t worry too much..lol. If you get lost at all just refer back to my tag for placement.

Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyright layer, and the hearts and “I SNOW” word art. Resize the canvas 700 x 700. Flood fill the white background.

Select the small rectangle on the left hand side, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.

Open a paper of choice, I resized the ones I used by 15 percent, copy and paste as a new layer above the selected rectangle. Place over top the rectangle, go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Delete the template layer. Apply a drop shadow or gradient glow.

Repeat above steps for the remaining template layer, except the snowflake line. I used a gradient to fill the two smaller rectangles at the bottom. You can use whatever you like best. I also included in my supplies the frame background I used. You are more than welcome to use a paper if preferred.

Now you should have all the layers replaced with papers or a gradient fill, select the small rectangle on the left that we started with, duplicate, mirror and move down. See my tag for reference if needed. Duplicate the diamond line, move over to the right side of the rectangle on the left hand side. Duplicate and do the same of the rectangle on the right hand side now.

Duplicate the small snow flake, place on the left hand side about half way down the frame. Move the large snow flake to the upper left hand corner, and the remaining small move over to the top right hand corner.

Now we are going to move the two long rectangles at the bottom down. Link the bottom rectangle and all its layers. Move down almost to the bottom of the rectangle you duplicated. Place the other long rectangle right above it. See my tag for reference if needed.

Copy and paste the frame background included in my supplies as a new layer, placing it below the frame.

Copy and paste the image included in my supplies above the frame background. Change the Blend mode to Luminance (Legacy).

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, erase any of the tube that’s out past the frame. Apply a drop shadow.

Open element 29 and resize by 15 percent, copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the bottom of the rectangle with the tube in it. Align the left side with the frame, erase any of the ribbon on the right side, apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the diamond in the middle of the bow on the ribbon, apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the word art included in my supplies, place in the top long rectangle at the bottom of the tag. Change Blend mode to Overlay. Also change the Blend mode on the snowflake line to Overlay as well.

Copy and paste a paper of choice above the white background layer, I resized the one I used by 700 x 700. Apply the mask to this layer. Delete the mask layer and merge group.

Open element 14 and resize by 10 percent, copy and paste as a new layer in the upper left hand corner in the center of the large snowflake. Apply a drop shadow.

Open element 20, duplicate, resize one by 10 percent and the other by 6 percent. Copy and paste the smaller flower in the middle of the bow you just placed. Apply a drop shadow. Copy and paste the larger flower on the right hand side on top of the ribbon. Apply a drop shadow.

Open element 16 and resize by 6 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer in the center of the small snowflake on the upper right hand corner. Apply a drop shadow.

Open element 19 and resize by 4 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer in the center of the now we just added. Apply a drop shadow.

Open element 32 and resize by 25 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer just above the ribbon on the left hand side. Apply a drop shadow.

Copy and paste the chain included in my supplies, place above the bulb to make it look attached to the ring. Merge group, duplicate and move to the right hand side, place both bulbs below the flower and bow.

Add any copyrights and your name.

Crop, resize if desired.

Stop here if you do not want to animate the tag, save as a PNG. If you would like to animate than please read on….

Animation…
Close off all layers above the frame, including the frame. You should have the following layers open; the white background, the mask layer, the two rectangles on the sides, the two diamond lines, the frame background and the frame image, and finally the tube.

Copy MERGERED, go to Animation Shop and paste as a new Animation. Duplicate this until you have a total of 20 frames. Select all frames, they all should have a blue frame around them.

Go to Edit - Propagate Paste, this will paste the image (snow fall) into all frames at once. Make sure its selected.

Open the SNOWFall.mng, select all of the frames.

Make sure you are at the beginning of the frames you duplicated 20 times, go down to the snow fall animation and drag it into the first frame.

*NOTE*
Stay inside the frame background and image as best as possible this is the only place you want to place the snow.

Place in the top left hand corner. Select the snow fall animation again and undo drag, drag again up to the tag placing this time in the upper right hand corner, do this until you have all four corners done.

Go to View - Animation, if you like what you see then its time for the next step, if not just redo the animated again.

Okay, its time to add the rest of the tag to the animation. Go back to PSP, close off the layers you have open and open the layers you have closed. This time the frame and any thing above it should be showing, make sure you close the white background layer.

Copy MERGED, go to Animation Shop and paste as a new Animation. Once again make sure all layers of the tag is selected and your at the beginning, drag and drop the top of the tag, line up the frame with the image and frame background. Once you have it placed go back to View - Animation, happy? COOL…save as a .gif

Hooray!! You have finished your tag for Christmas, now go show it off! See that wasn’t so bad..lol

I hope you have enjoyed using one of my tuts, I would love to see what you have created.
