Supplies Needed:
Tubes of choice (close-up and half or full body), I am using the talented Jose Cano found at PTE
Scrap kit Friendship by ZiggyFan
Template 12 by Creative By Nature
Mask of choice
Xero - Soft Vignette (optional)
Thought I would do something a little different today, starting at see shamrocks in my sleep…lol. SO, I found this pretty awesome kit at ZiggyFan, she has a lot of amazing work, BTW, so go check her out! Anyway sure you’re ready to get started so here we go…lol.
Open the template, duplicate and close the original. Delete the copyright.
Select the circle layer, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.
Open a paper of choice, I resized mine by 75 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer above the selected layer. Position to your liking, go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. Delete the template layer and apply a drop shadow.
Repeat the above steps for the remaining template layers.
Select the large circle, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.
Copy and paste the close-up tube as a new layer, apply a drop shadow. Place inside the large circle. Once happy with the placing go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. I apply the following Effects to my close-up:
Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds:
Width - 2
Opacity - 30
Color - White
Horizontal & Light From Left/Top - Checked
Change the Blend Mode to Hard Light
Lower Opacity to around 80
Select the Frame backgrounds, go to Selections - Select All - Float - Defloat.
Copy and paste the smaller tube as a new layer. Place inside one of the frames, apply a drop shadow. Go to Selections - Invert and hit delete on the keyboard. Check to make sure the frame beside this one doesn’t have any tube. Repeat this for the remaining two frames. You can mirror tube also.
I applied the following Effects on the three smaller tubes in the frames:
Xero - Soft Vignette
Gradient Shape - Elliptical
Effect Type - Foreground Colour
Pattern Type - Solid
Repeats, Width and Height - 0
Strength - 255
Okay, now onto the elements!
Open Element 28, resize by 60 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer below the circle layer. Apply gradient glow or drop shadow or both…lol.
Open Element 13, resize by 60 percent, copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the bottom right hand side of the three frames. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and mirror, place in the upper left hand corner of the frames. See my tag for reference if needed.
Open Element 11, resize by 15 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer at the bottom between the first and second frames. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place at the top between the second and third frames.
Open Element 17, resize by 15 percent. Copy and paste as a new layer overlapping the brad on the left. Apply a drop shadow. Duplicate and place on top of the brad on the right.
Copy and paste a paper of choice above the white background. Apply the mask to this layer. Delete the mask layer and merge group. Resize mask if needed.
Add any copyrights and your name.
Crop, resize if desired. Save as a PNG (close background layer first).
WOW, pretty easy huh!? Thank you for trying one of my tutorials. I hope you had fun and will come back for more. I would love to see what you have created!!
